Couples Therapist | Relationship Therapist Orange County

Jonathan Vazquez

If you are feeling stuck, afraid, lost, or hopeless, you do not have to go through it alone. I am a trained Experiential Therapist and I want to inspire you to see that you can go far beyond where you are right now. I want to help you get excited about who you are, what you are, what you have, and what can still be for you. As an Experiential Therapist my goal is to help couples and individuals honor self, honor the other, and honor the context in which they live to live lives that flourish.

Prior to becoming a therapist, I served in the local church as a Pastor serving teenagers, young adults, families, and adults from all walks of life. I often found myself desiring the tools and skills to be a person that church members, staff, and pastors could go to. This experience has instilled me a desire to provide a safe setting for individuals and couples to experience the kind of life that Jesus has for them.

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, feelings of hopelessness, and those that are struggling with recent change. I also find purpose working with couples experiencing relational distress. In my work I borrow from varying modalities such as experiential therapy, internal family systems, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

A little bit about my personal life, I love the great outdoors and backpacking in the Sierras and Glacier National Park. I love being active and often have some adventure in mind. I also enjoy spending time with my beautiful fiancé, family, and friends.
